JOI Game FAQ
What is JOI?
JOI stands for "Jerk Off Instructions" — a genre of adult content where instructions (spoken, written, or implied by the video itself) tell you how and when to touch yourself. It's usually paced, meaning the instructions build toward a climax at a specific moment rather than leaving the timing up to you.
What is Cock Hero?
Cock Hero is a JOI sub-genre built around a rhythm-game gimmick: clips are cut to a beat (usually a metronome or music track), and you stroke in time with that beat instead of at your own pace. Clips change on a timer, so the "hero" is whoever survives the whole playlist without finishing early.
How does GMP's version work?
This game plays random clips from a pool you choose (all videos, a theme/category, your favorites, or a keyword search) for a set session duration. A metronome beat drives the pace, and clips swap out on their own timer so you're always reacting to something new.
What do the BPM range and "BPM change interval" settings do?
The beat's speed (beats per minute) is randomized between your chosen minimum and maximum — you never know exactly how fast it'll be. "BPM change interval" controls how often a new random speed is rolled: pick a fixed number of seconds, or "Every beat" for a new speed on every single tick, which is a lot more chaotic. Right before a scheduled change, a brief on-screen warning gives you a heads-up to prepare.
What does "Slide duration" do?
It's how long each clip stays on screen before the game automatically swaps in a new random one from your pool. You can also tap the skip button to jump to the next clip early — doing so resets the slide timer, so you get the full duration on the new clip.
What are "Tasks"?
Short instructions (e.g. a pace, grip, or position change) that pop up as a banner over the video periodically. Turn them off entirely, or pick exactly which tasks are allowed to show up, in the setup form.
What is "Red Light, Green Light" mode?
An optional mode inspired by the classic game: the beat randomly stops ("red light") and you have to freeze completely until it starts again ("green light"). A light indicator on screen tells you which phase you're in, and each phase's length is randomized within a range. The difficulty setting (Easy through Impossible) controls those ranges: easier difficulties mean long green phases and short, infrequent red ones, while harder difficulties flip that to short green phases and long, frequent red ones.
What do Orgasm / Ruined / Denied mean?
They're the possible outcomes for how a session ends, and the three sliders on the setup page control the odds of each one being picked when the session completes:
- Orgasm — you finish normally.
- Ruined — you're instructed to stop stimulation right at the edge.
- Denied — no finish at all; the session simply ends.
The three percentages must add up to 100.
Can I save a game and share it?
Yes, if you're logged in. After a session, save your exact configuration (pool, BPM range, tasks, Red Light settings, outcome odds) as a named game under Browse Games, where anyone can play it, vote on it, or favorite it. Saved games also track play count and how sessions on it tend to end.
What's "Remix"?
Any saved game can be remixed: it opens the setup form pre-filled with that game's exact settings so you can tweak anything before starting. Remixing never edits the original saved game — playing or saving from a remix always creates a separate, independent one.
The screen keeps turning off / I want it fullscreen. What can I do?
Use the fullscreen button next to the Home button on the game screen. Fullscreen mode combined with your device's "keep screen on while playing video" behavior generally prevents the screen from sleeping mid-session.
